Just in case you were still wondering...
It's written for computers running RISC OS - formerly made by Acorn, and now by several small companies. Not PCs running Windows or Linux, and not even Apple computers.
Yes, this kind of cuts down of the number of people who can play the game.
No, there isn't a Windows version. Not yet, anyway. A lot of the game is written in ARM assembler code, so it wouldn't be a quick port even if I tried.
There are emulators available, such as Red Squirrel and their commercial cousin VirtualAcorn. I think the game will run using these emulators, but let me know if it doesn't.
